Trial Run | Week #2 - May 12 - May 18

What an exhilarating week #1 it has been!

We could not have been happier with the number of teams that came through the Houston Escape Room this past week to help us test our challenge! We also could not have imagined having such diversity in the groups that have already come through. Just a quick highlight of what we mean:

  • Realtor co-workers
  • Medical students
  • Birthday party
  • Family of 5
  • Groups of friends!

Just being able to serve some of these groups gives us the confidence and hope that we can really provide entertainment to just about anybody out there who's willing to be open-minded and adventurous.

The Houston Escape Room challenge has gotten harder and harder as the week has progressed, but we're at the point now where we think we're just about at the sweet spot of difficulty. The past few groups that have gone through the latest iteration of the room have either not escaped or required a number of hints along the way to get them out of the door with the hidden asset!

This week, we'll be fine-tuning the room, improving the locking mechanisms that have been a bit makeshift.

If you're up for a unique challenge, get your team ready, and book a time-slot for your Challenge here: www.houstonescaperoom.com/reservations and use the promocode: LETMEOUT to get $6 off your ticket.

Soft Launch | May 5 - 11

Welcome!!

The fact that you are reading this blog post is simply amazing to me. I officially started the journey to launch Houston Escape Room on April 3, 2014. I say officially because that's when I wrote my first entry into my business journal, a prayer for the company. I didn't even know what the name of the business would be at that point.

My guess is that if you've found this post, you are an adventurous individual or have adventurous friends or you want to be more adventurous!

Right now, we are in the midst of our Trial Run period (May 5 - May 11).

We are only charging $5 per customer because the room is still being tweaked, and we need to ensure that the difficulty level is annoyingly perfect.

Please use the promocode: "five" if you'd like to schedule a challenge by Sunday, May 11.

Please follow us and promote us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook!

Thanks,

Ed
